Making a movie is like going to war, and nobody wants to go into battle unprepared.
With just one week till "FORGED" begins shooting, producers are working hard to make sure everything's in place before the weapons are drawn and the battle begins.
Shooting is slated to being Monday, February 2, and then there's no time to make mistakes. It's going to be a hectic month-long schedule full of 12 hour days.
Throw in the arctic Northeastern Pa. winters, and high amount of outdoor locations, and there's no time to be wasted. Everything must be locked down and ready to roll, before the cameras roll.
Looks like the intensity, energy and enthusiasm is high. The stars of the film will arrive in Scranton later this week.
Over the weekend "FORGED" conducted an open casting call at the Holiday Inn in Dunmore. Over 200 people showed up to audition for roles.... primary background spots.
Megan Reiter of the Scranton Times-Tribune was on hand to keep the public informed.

ReplyDeleteThe saying is "The battle plan never survives contact with the enemy"... so, uh, the shooting schedule never survives contact with the actual shoot?
