Party with Forged cast & crew at Holiday Inn.
It's time for a little Hollywood style partying in Scranton!
Come out to the Holiday Inn tonight and tear it up with the cast and crew of the feature film "Forged."
The party starts at 8 in the lounge at the Holiday Inn on Tigue Street in Dunmore, and Coors Light and Miller Lite Drafts are on special for just $1.50!
And don't forget to sample the drink named after us, and have a little taste of "FORGED ON THE ROCKS."

It's directed by William Wedig and produced by Scranton's own Joe Van Wie.
Hope to see you out at the Holiday Inn!

FORGED CONTINUES TO GROW
Momentum builds in NEPA
When we began shooting Forged on February 6 the word was out that an independent film was shooting in Northeastern Pennsylvania, but now as we’re just a week away from wrapping pretty much everybody knows.
Forged has taken Scranton by storm.
Forty plus setups a day and we’re still wrapping early most days, scenes are looking sick and we’ve been doing an insane amount of press in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.
Earlier this week stars Manny Perez and David Castro, director William Wedig, and executive producer Joe Van Wie did a the Pennsylvania Independent Film show on WVIA, to talk about the film with sexy host Wendy Wilson.
It was an adventure. Wendy managed to charm the cast and filmmakers into divulging all the dirt on Forged, while busting on Joe Van Wie, who she knew since he was a little boy growing up in Scranton.
Off stage Wendy reconnected with Joe's older sister Gina, who she went to school with, as well as Joe's mother.
Also lately we’ve been featured on 97 BHT on the Ralphie Radio Show with Ralphie Aversa, Daniels and Webster on Rock 107, WBRE, WYOU, and WNEP news, as well as write ups in Electric City/Diamond City and the Scranton Times-Tribune.
Local sponsors have been great and we’ve been bringing more on just about every day.
Locations we’ve shot at include the legendary Scranton Lace Mill, Dunmore’s Bucktown Diner, The Bog and the AV Restaurant.
Things have been outstanding. The camaraderie between the cast and crew has also been amazing. While off the clock people are either hanging out together at establishments around the area including The Woodland’s, Mohegan Sun, Molly Brannigan’s, Brix and The Colosseum, chilling in the hotel enjoying dailes, or playing poker games.
Plus remember this is a road movie so we’ve been filming a wealth of driving scenes.

FORGED GOES PUBLIC
Movie stars entertaining at press conference/cocktail party
Hollywood and Northeastern Pennsylvania in the same breath?
You might say that.
Media and local patrons came out to party with the cast and crew of Forged Saturday.
A press conference, and cocktail party took place in the hotspot Breakers, at the Mohegan Sun Casino welcoming the stars, director and producers of the independent film to NEPA.
Film stars Manny Perez, Kevin Breznahan, Jaime Tirelli, director William Wedig and producers Joe Van Wie and Josh Crook answered questions for the press and public.
Even though this film is an intense gritty drama, the boys are always funny --- whether they’re being interviewed, mingling with fans, or just chilling out.
Still, it’s not all punch and cookies for this talented ensemble. The actors spoke passionately about their characters. All seemed well-prepared and excited to delve right into their work.
They’ll get the chance Thursday, when the cameras roll in Scranton. Shooting will run through March 6.
Expectations are high as the cast already seem to have instantly formed a bond. The heavyweights seems to have an instant rapport, chemistry and high-level of mutual admiration each other.
After interviews with local press, Manny, Kevin, Jaime, Will and Joe appeared on the Ralphie Radio Show on top-forty station 97 BHT.
Popular young on-air personality Ralphie Aversa got all the inside dirt on the film, while laughing it up with the cast on the air.
One of the highlights of the day had to be the always amusing Kevin asking for girls to come to the set to work as extras, or just hang out.
He’s looking to enjoy the women of Northeastern PA, so if any ladies are interested in being an extra hit up FORGEDCASTING@GMAIL.COM.
